We are always seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals for RiverSides Projects, Working Groups, and even Board Members.

  • Highly desired skills include expertise in: 
  • Research, Media, Communications, Fundraising, Water, and Community Outreach

Currently sought volunteers:

• Fundraiser – seek out and evaluate grant and sponsorship opportunities; assist with
grant applications and coordinating fundraising events

• Communications and Marketing Assistant – seek out and evaluate promotion and publicity opportunities, review content and design of materials; assist with hosting of events including trade shows, workshops and educational tours

• Marketing Assistant – review sales and promotion opportunities; assist in
evaluation, research and design of rain harvesting programs/products

Facts About Water

The largest source of pollution to urban rivers is untreated stormwater runoff, which contains sediment, sewage, pesticides, road salts, pet waste, oil and grease.
